Due to the downturn in the economy, I recently toured many of the facilities that are operated by The Salvation Army in Phoenix to see if Your Auto Network Corp. could assist them in raising funds for their numerous programs. One area that we visited was the Kaiser Family Center where The Salvation Army provides temporary shelter to families who have suffered a crisis. Using their philosophy of empowerment and helping to develop positive family dynamics, The Salvation Army is able to assist these families in becoming self sufficient. Many of these families have lost everything. Now, with the current economic climate, donations to local charities are down considerably. This economy is taking its toll on our veterans, children, the elderly and families.
